During the week of April 6 Palestinian terrorists operating out of the northern Gaza Strip fired at least six mortar shells at communities in southern Israel. There were no injuries or damage reported in the attacks. Continue to pray for the peace of Israel.

The armed wing of Hamas on Saturday threatened to seize more Israelis as to use alongside Gilad Shalit as bargaining chips to free Palestinians in Israeli jails. In a statement faxed to reporters, a spokesman for the Izz-as-Din al-Qassam brigades, Abu Obeidah, said a prisoner swap was not Hamas' on...Pray for the peace of Israel.

Pray for rain in Israel. There is the possibility that the Jordan River will dry up!

Always pray for peace, and for rain. Israel faces water shortages.
Also always pray that God will have oil discovered in Israel so that they may be energy independent.

Following is a message from one of my friends in California regarding Israel's stand against interference from the outside world. I liked her comments so much she gave me permission to add them to my blog....
"All I can say is I highly regard Benjamin Netanyahu. He's got some guts. If Israel were to call the nation to prayer and fast and the entire place shut down, people enter their homes and/or local worship places and get on their faces before God for a few days and then gather together in a national gathering of prayer and if they determined to not care about any (and I mean any!) allies they have but rather depend entirely on Jehovah God Almighty..... the rest of the world better grab hold of their shorts and tie them in a knot because the rest of the world would soon be understanding a whole new aspect of God Almighty! Israel doesn't need a single ally. She only needs God. He loves her and will protect her all by Himself. As to 'the nations'....ha.....they're toast!
Pray for the peace of Israel! Pray for wisdom for their leaders and unity within their government.
